Safeguarding

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. All young people have the right to be safe and enjoy their Football

FA training has been created to provide role-specific safeguarding information for all involved in football activity dependent on their role.

All young people have the right to be safe and enjoy their sport. We all have a duty to safeguard and protect young people from harm. All football clubs/organisations must have policies and procedures in place to create a safe environment.

In addition all those working with U18s will have to hold the appropriate safeguarding training in line with FA guidance for their role within the club. This will have to be renewed every 3 years

Photographs and Video

When you apply for your child to be registered to the Club, you have an option to have or not have your child’s photos published on the Club website outside the Members only section. Please make sure you let us know if you don't want pictures of your children published outside the members only section. Please also let us know if you do not wish videos or photographs to be published on any future Club Soclal Media sites.

Supervision

As parents, you are responsible for getting your children safely to and from the football pitches for training and matches, whether at home or away. It is your responsibility as a parent to ensure that your child is supervised at any time on site whilst not in a formal training session/match.

Bullying and Harassment

Any potential concerns about bullying or harassment should be raised to the Team Manager or Lead Coach and, if not resolved at the time, should be referred to the Club’s Welfare Officer without delay.

Any questions on Safeguarding or on any aspects of your child’s Welfare can be addressed to the Club Welfare Officer.
