As we embark on the clubs 11^th season of development football, we are excited to see what the new season will bring.

With 11 teams now competing and nearly 150 young people training/playing football each week, our club has become an established presence and community!!

Hursley Youth FC was founded in 2015 with a desire to ensure that our children – regardless of age or ability – have a safe, pleasant and friendly environment in which to play, learn and develop a true love for football.

To deliver this ethos, and to manage the growing number of young people we see, the club has a strong, consistent and dedicated Committee (with details below.) supported ably by R&R Sports Coaching!

It is imperative that this arrangement is in place to ensure that the club has the appropriate infrastructure to support our current members but also to enable future growth.

We thank our willing volunteers for their support and know that the club will move forward in very safe hands and continue to be excited about what we can achieve! Thank you!!

This support extends to the respective teams and we request that any parents/volunteers that wish to support the club further, make themselves known to one of the managers or our founder and Chair, Will Cameron. 

As a club, we continue to use the Teamo app for club registration and club updates. Please can you ensure that all club members (players and parents/carers) are registered within this system to ensure it is easy for the club to communicate.

Due to the current climate, the club Committee has applied an uplift to the training fees for the 2025/26 season, the first uplift for 2 years. It is a necessary amendment in order to meet all of the growing running costs. We appreciate your understanding with this.

The revised fees are as follows : -

Club registration*      £40

Training Cost                £8 / session

Sibling rate                    £4 / session

*this fee is applicable to those players playing development/league football on Sundays only.

We will continue to invoice parents on a termly basis, and will raise 3 invoices over the season. Please note the first invoice will be visible in Teamo and ask that these are settled asap, and by 31 October, latest.

Please note, any players who haven’t paid membership, or discussed an arrangement with the club by the above date will not be permitted to train or play with club.

We are obviously keen to avoid this situation, and ask that anyone wanting to explore more flexible payment terms speaks with or email our club secretary, Chris Ennis.

Please don’t hesitate to ask – we are happy to try and accommodate your requests to help make paying club membership easier!!

You are able to pay via the Teamo app which uses GoCardless. There is a small amount of admin associated with setting this up, so please do be prepared for this.

For the majority, training takes place on a Saturday morning on the pitches at IBM, Hursley.

Training starts at 8.30am and finishes at 10am.

It is noted that due to the clubs growth, we have had to evolve our training approach for some teams and they will need to train midweek. Please check team page for training session details

Each training session is split into age group/teams and is supported by the fantastic coaches of R&R Sports Coaching, led by their founder Rob Elliott.

Our partnership dates back to the club’s inception and we are grateful for their help, support and guidance. We really wouldn’t have seen the success we have without this key partner! Thank you Rob, Ash and all coaches at R&R!

Matches for all age groups will be played on Sundays. Please check team page for fixture list link and match locations

Players, according to our club code of conduct, are expected to be arrive promptly and be ready to represent our club to the best of their ability.

The FA asks that all spectators stand on the opposite side to the Managers and stand back from the edge of the pitch behind the “respect line”.

We want everyone to enjoy the games, whilst following the FA and our own guidelines.

During games, we ask that spectators cheer and celebrate good play and provide words of encouragement for both teams, but DO NOT try to manage or coach!

Any instruction the player needs will come from the Managers and following the training the teams are receiving on Saturdays.

Our club colours are red and black. Unfortunately, our club kit manufacturer (core-37) went into administration during the 2024/25 season and we have had to consider and agree on an alternate provider.

In this instance, we have agreed a relationship with Decathlon and welcome 4 sets of new kit for the 2025/26 season (for our U8s, U10s x2, and U14s).

We will look to refresh the existing kits in due course.

We thank Chris Whelan for his support in facilitating the new relationship with Decathlon whilst thanking our club sponsors for their generous support.
